KYA18A-12 Switchgear is available to AC 50Hz,rated voltage of 10kV,single busbar or double busbar power net for power transmission, distribution and measuring. It is mainly used as measuring, protecting and controlling in power transmission and distribution system in power station, substation, seaport, airport, workshops or mines, etc.

It is a metal-clad, mid-mounted and draw-out type of switchgear, and it consists two components, one is main body formed by thin steel plate as a frame structure and another components is a draw-out part (called as truck). Main busbar components, truck component, cable (current transformer) component, relay component, etc. should be divided by earthing thin steel plate in the switchgear. The truck is a kind of hanging type with advantages of good exchange capacity, flex operation, light weight and easy for maintenance, etc.
