    LW3-12 I and LW3-12 II Outdoor HV SF6 Circuit Breaker are new type of outdoor HV circuit breaker with SF6 gas as insulating and arc extinguishing media. A rotating arc principal used in the extinguishing arc room, both circuit breaker and operation mechanism is arranged as an integrated structure. In comparison with other 10kV series outdoor circuit breakers, this kind of product has several advantages, such as simple structure, a reliable capacity on arc extinguishing and insulation, a smaller operation power, a higher rated parameter, a longer electrical service life and a long maintenance free duration, etc.

There are two types, they are type I and type II .Type I circuit breaker could be fitted with spring operation mechanism of manual energy storage. Three steps current transformer for protection shall be equipped between A phase and C phase in the main body of the circuit breaker. This type of circuit breaker has three kinds of capacities: manual breaking, manual closing and opening and over current (or short circuit) auto-releasing breaking.

    Type II circuit breaker could be fitted with spring operation mechanism of motor charging. This type of circuit breaker has several capacities of motor charging, closing & opening, breaking, manual charging, closing & opening, breaking and over current (or short circuit) auto-release (with built-in or external current transformer). This kind of circuit breaker can not only realize manual spot operation, but also realize remote control and autorecloser operation.
